We are very excited that The Mead was chosen to feature in Nursery World’s lead article about the allocation of funding to build, expand and refurbish nursery premises ahead of the 30-hour offer in September 2017.
The magazine featured a number of quotes from The Mead’s Head of School, Miss Emma Holton, and a beautiful photo of our early years children enjoying some outdoor play.
In case you missed the news, The Mead has been allocated £140,000 to open a 30-place nursery in September 2017. The hope is that the nursery will be integrated into the current Early Years outdoor area, creating an EYFS unit. The nursery will open in a stand-alone eco friendly building.
